All Time Biggest 80's Music Hits and Why We Love Them So

The greatest decade of them all, the 80's!! Once again, here we are at the start of another memory lane. Travel with me once more as I recall some of the biggest music hits from the big 80's!! The hair was big, the music loud, and the hits never seem to end. Rock, pop, country, whatever the style, there is a certain favorite song for everyone. I find it amusing that the more commercials I see, the more I hear 80's classic hit songs. Just goes to show the longevity of this great music and of this great era!

So let's get this gig started shall we? Let's start with favorite pop hits. Everyone from Abba's Dancing Queen, to Whitney Houston's How Will I Know. Madonna's Papa don't Preach, to New Kids on the Block's The Right Stuff. Quirky little gems to say the least. But somehow, they have a permanent spot in my memory. I think I can even still do the N.K.O.T.B. dance!! What about the ever popular band Genesis and all the great 80's hits they had? Land of Confusion, No Reply at All, That's All, just to name a few. Then you can't mention the band Genesis without saying something about the ever popular, Phil Collins. Probably his biggest 80's hit was In The Air Tonight. Does anyone else do the air drum solo near the end of the song like I do? Please, please, please, let there be someone else that does it!! I've almost wrecked cars trying to get it out!! But, hey, back to the subject here. Who can remember The Police and their stream of hits? Don't Stand so Close To Me, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Every Breath You Take are just a very few of 80's hits from this great band. Not to mention Sting and his solo career. Do you remember the mega hit from Dire Straits called Money for Nothing? Guess who was singing "I want my M.T.V." in the beginning? You guessed it, Sting. There was a few big artists who kinda sorta crossed lines if you will in the 80's. Eddie Van Halen crossed over and played guitar for Micheal Jackson on his great hit, Beat It, and then Micheal did background vocals for Rockwell and his hit Somebody's Watching Me. Diversity is the name of the game here, with everyone in play.

Next, let's move over to the harder side of 80's rock. There was plenty to be had in this arena wasn't there? Everyone from Poison, to the thunder from down under, AC/DC. Who can't forget the power ballads of the 80's? I believe the biggest power ballad of all time has to be from Poison and Every Rose Has It's Thorn. Stadium rock was alive and well with mega bands like Cinderella and their 80's hit Save Me. Did anyone catch the Monsters of Rock concert from the 80's? If you did, you saw mega stars like Van Halen, Scorpions, and Metallica. It seemed as though the hits that were coming out were bigger and louder than anything else everyone has ever seen. One of the biggest stage presences ever was from the band Def Leppard and their In The Round, In Your Face tour. Talk about something new!! For those not familiar with this kind of concert, the band was in the middle of the concert hall, and the crowd was seated around the band a full 360 degrees. Not that anyone was seated mind you!! This was from their mega album Hysteria. The hits go on and on.

So there you have a few of the greatest 80's rock and pop hits. Stay tuned as there will surely be more to follow. Thanks much for sharing your time with me. Rock On!!!

Best 3-Point Shooters of All Time - Reggie Miller

Reggie wasn't quite the center of attention during the 1987 NBA draft. 10 players were selected before Indiana Pacers chose to draft Miller with the 11th pick. He was surprised because he didn't know much about this franchise and Pacer fans weren't quite happy with this choice because Indiana didn't draft the local star Steve Alford.

It didn't take long for Miller to gain some respect from the fans as Reggie progressed fast and by his 3rd season he already averaged 24.6 ppg and that still remains the highest scoring average of his career. He also proved that he is a great 3-point shooter by hitting 150 out of 362 threes. He was selected to play in the All-Star game for the first time in his career. Reggie was a beast during his early years in the league.

Reggie hit more and more threes every year and in 1992-93 season he set a new franchise record with 167 three-point field goals. The great 3 point shooter Miller also scored his career high 57 points against the Hornets that season. He averaged more than 20 ppg in each season from 1990 to 1993 but Indiana never won a playoff series. However it all changed next season...

Reggie's points per game average had slipped a bit but he did hit his long-distance shots very accurately (his 3p% was 0.421). The most important thing was that his team was playing very good and Pacers finished with franchise-high 47 wins. Indiana beat Orlando and top-seeded Atlanta as they advanced to the conference finals where they played the Knicks. These series took Reggie's popularity to a whole another level mainly because of his epic game 5 performance. This was probably the best game of his career as he was practically unstoppable. Reggie scored 39 points and 25 of them came in the 4th quarter. Although Knicks won the series Indiana and Reggie showed that they are for real. Miller was the leading scorer of the USA Basketball team that won the gold medal at the 1994 FIBA World Championship.

1994-1995 was another great season for Reggie as he averaged 19.6 points. Indiana's roster saw improvement - they signed point guard Mark Jackson and he teamed with Reggie to help the Pacers win 52 games. Reggie was a starter at the All-star game for the first time in his career. Indiana easily dispatched Atlanta in the first round of the 1995 playoffs and they were going to face a familiar foe in the second round. Reggie was ready!

Miller proved once again that he's a clutch 3 point shooter and single-handedly turned around game 1 by scoring 8 points in 9 seconds. He averaged 22.6 ppg in these series and Indiana beat the Knicks in 7 games. Unfortunately Pacers great playoff run was stopped by Orlando Magic and for the second season in a row they lost in the conference finals.

During the next 2 seasons Reggie remained as one of the top scorers and probably the best 3-point shooter in the league but his team wasn't quite successful until 1997-98 season. However in the 1996-97 season Miller hit career-high 229 pointers and his 3P% was also spectacular -.427.

Larry Bird started to coach the Pacers in 1997 and next season turned out to be very successful. Miller was great and for the third time in his career he was selected to the All-NBA third team. Pacers won 58 games and had a deep playoff run and in the conference finals they met with a team which could draft Miller in 1987 but instead took Horace Grant - the 5 time NBA champions Chicago Bulls. In game 4 Reggie was the hero as he won the game with this clutch shot. Indiana had a legit chance to advance to the Finals as they were leading in the 4th quarter of game 7 but eventually they lost.

Next season Indiana Pacers again advanced to the Conference Finals where they again got beat this time by the Knicks. In 1999-2000 Reggie's ppg slipped to 18.1 but he still earned his 5th All-star appearance which turned out to be his last. Pacers remained an eastern powerhouse and with Micheal Jordan gone their chances to finally advance to the finals were good and they used them. Indiana beat New York in the Conference Finals and earned their first NBA Finals appearance. Reggie finally had a shot to win his first ring at age 34 but LA Lakers turned out to be stronger and the series were over after 6 games.

During the next season Reggie became the first player to make 2000 3-point shots over the course of his career. During the first few years of the 21st century Indiana didn't go far in the playoffs but Reggie was putting up very solid stats for a veteran player which he had become. However he still remained a great 3-point shooter and provided some amazing clutch plays in the playoffs. Definitely one of his craziest clutch shots ever in this Reggie video.

2003-04 season was successful for the Indiana Pacers as they advanced to the eastern conference finals where they lost to the eventual champions Detroit in 6 games but Reggie wasn't the leader of the team anymore. Pacers were strong and it seemed possible that Reggie could finally win his first championship ring but the pistons pacers brawl which occurred in the November of 2004 ruined his chances. Several Indiana players were suspended and the core of the team was severely damaged. So Reggie finally retired after the season.

After his retirement he joined TNT as an NBA analyst and he even considered to come back from his retirement and join the Boston Celtics in 2007 after they formed their big three but that never happened.

Hip Hop Dance is something that emerged in recent times and by recent I mean within the last fifty to sixty years. There are many different forms of the dance and each has it's own particular style. The thing about the dance that many people is often confused about is that there isn't one form of dancing but there are many forms of hip hop dancing. The great thing about the dance style is that there isn't one style, and this is because of the high creativity that is involved with the dancing. People such as Britney spears, and Madonna was able to set the standards of what dancing is. The latest star that is a big rage right now would be Soulja Boy, with his one hit popular dance move, superman.

There has also been many sub cultures of dancing that emerged such as break dancing, and even clowning.

Dancers encompass a huge variety of different types of dancer styles and moves. Each hip hop dancer has their own signature moves and styles that they personally invented. Michael Jackson and Human Consciousness Evolution

As a person who has worked with a deep connection to Spirit, it has become clear to me that we process not only our individual psychological issues, but the emotional energy of the groups that we are embedded within as a collective. These include smaller groups such as family, school, and community, as well as larger collectives. Certain events, and certain lives resonate with group oversouls, and even the entire human collective oversoul. These events and lives become a kind of living synchronicity. Like all synchronicities, they offer consciousness to those who experience them.

A very poignant example involved the life of actor Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in the movie series. The idea of Superman is an archetypical projection of the human ego - the idea of immortality and invulnerability are delusions that the ego puts forward as it confronts the reality that it will inevitably pass. At the level of consciousness, Superman represents the denial of impermanence, embodiment and death. Thus when Christopher Reeve accepted the role of Superman, he literally embodied a collective spiritual issue of the human oversoul. His life became not merely his own, but a channel for the consciousness evolution of humanity.

When Christopher Reeve was thrown from his horse and became a quadriplegic, he became the antithesis of Superman - all too vulnerable and very mortal. He became completely helpless and dependent on others for survival. He became powerless in almost every sense, except for the power to choose his thoughts and attitude.

Within his spirit, and at the deeper level of the human oversoul, Christopher Reeve accepted a role as an agent in human consciousness evolution. He soared as high as the ego can fly, and fell as far as it can fall. And it was all for the service of humanity. His life helped us process a little of a collective issue of human egos, the delusion that we have ultimate power and control. The truth is that we do not. We are part of a greater spiritual evolution. And all form passes.

Recently another individual human soul passed away, and his life also served the human collective. Michael Jackson's life, his music and his individual soul issues resonated deeply with the oversoul of a large segment of humanity - the Generation Xers. What I am about to say is not meant to be disrespectful to Michael Jackson. I write this with no judgment of him as a soul. These perceptions emerge from my intuitive sense of his life and soul issues. We all have soul issues. Michael Jackson's were probably a little deeper than most, and he just happened to live his in the spotlight.

Michael Jackson never integrated his childhood scars. He did not know how to deal with adult relationships, because his personal boundaries were so diffused as a child that he did not know where "he" ended and others started. He began to push others away. His retreat into child-like behaviours was testament that he had not integrated and owned his inner child. He became a parody of that child because he was not prepared to become the parent to it. He rejected responsibility for himself. An increasing acceptance of responsibility for self and one's soul issues is a fundamental component of personal, psychological and spiritual development. This is a lifetime process for most of us. Inevitably, most of us never complete the processes.

Yet most significantly, Michael Jackson never accepted his mortality, and thus lived in great fear of death. He spent his life attempting to anaesthetise his emotional pain, deny his body, and control and alter his physical form. He orchestrated his life such that he did not have to confront his soul issues, retreating into a fantasy world of his own making. The increasing pain in his body reflected his deep, undressed emotional scars, and as he tried to drug these out of his awareness, he eventually turned so far away from the truth of himself that his spirit vacated his body. He was not able to grow any more as a spirit.

Yet the timing of his passing has its own perfection.

Michael Jackson's life was archetypal, and his death has created a huge wave in human collective consciousness. This is not because MJ was "weird" or a freak. In fact the media have suddenly stopped referring to him as "Whacko Jacko". The capacity of Micheal Jackson's passing to deeply affect the collective human oversoul lies in the fact that Michael Jackson is so definitively human. His denial of death and impermanence, his attempts to shut out his pain, and his inability to integrate his inner child are all prime issues of the Generation X oversoul, and the human collective oversoul in general.

In Michael Jackson's passing, Generation X is forced to confront these issues at a deep level. So, don't be surprised if you find yourself facing some unexpected emotional issues in the coming days and weeks. It is not just you. It is "we". The ocean has stirred, and a wave is descending. The tsunami though, is meant to be. Ride with it wherever it takes you, and you will be just a little bit freer.

Has Rock and Pop Music Lost Its Identity?

Many years ago, if you heard a song on the radio, in a shop or bar, you would immediately know the name of the artist or band. Back in the 80's this was certainly true, especially the pop charts. Since the 90's though this individuality seemed to trail off with musical styles from different genres being homogenized into rap, R&B and dance for instance. This could be due to the huge US gangsta rap influence -- even the spice girls seemed to have borrowed from this. Fashion obviously has a big influence. Could this be why the 80's is making such a big comeback?

Rock music, on the other hand has seen something of a Renaissance in recent years, often going back to its various innovations like punk, 60"s beat and classic rock. Bands like The Artic Monkeys, The Feeling and Franz Ferdinand are certainly good examples of this. The Killers and Coldplay on the other hand owe a lot to 8o"s bands like The Cure or U2 but made a style all of their own. The interesting thing with rock as opposed to pop is that the rock bands seem to stay together much longer. U2 are an obvious example. The Rolling Stones seem to roll on for ever and even Status Quo are still on the go and numerous others which you don"t hear much of these days. The biggest bands in pop on the other hand i.e. The Beatles, ABBA and The Spice Girls only lasted a few years -- often being offered multi-million deals to reform with only the spice girls capitulating. Even so pop seems to have more comeback bands now such as Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Micheal Jackson. Though Micheal.Jackson had never really left the public eye, he hadn"t toured for over ten years. With his recent death of course, everybody wants a piece of the nostalgia that has blossomed as a result of it. It"s doubtful whether his unique blend of musical style and individuality will ever be matched.

Heavy metal seems to continue its popularity unabated ever since Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin first unleashed their huge yet mesmerizing guitar sound onto the world. The different fads of fashion certainly did not have as much influence on this genre as it did on the other popular styles. Punk did not have as much effect on metal except it may have helped it become more popular and power driven with new bands like Motorhead, Iron Maiden and Van Halen joining the foray. psychedelic and bluesy rock on the other hand largely lost out to the punk movement with just a few of them surviving punk"s stampede for a few more years such as Wishbone Ash, Electric Light Orchestra and Supertramp. Pink Floyd are one notable exception with the album "The Wall" released in 1979, which ensured that they kept up with their punk and new wave rivals.

An answer to one of the original question may be that bands & artists who are self formed such as in rock and metal write their own songs or perform other people"s songs with such passion that they never tire of it, where as in pop the artists are often manufactured and usually tire of someone else controlling everything they do. There are exceptions even here though like Take That and The Pet Shop Boys who have always wrote their own songs. This may be what makes songs more memorable, artists who write their own material and have a certain fashion or style, This is certainly true in pop and rock but less so in metal where electric guitar playing skill or speed are usually more important.

Keyword Mistakes That Usually We Do in SEO

I would like to share information regarding a topic which might not be known to many of the web-masters and also they won't be much considerate about it. But to tell you something frankly, when you are into web business overlooking even a single small concept can harness your business a lot. So would like discuss with you something regarding to what is called keyword blacklisting.

Keywords as you know play an important role in getting good page ranking in search engines. But if you are carrying the malicious intent to use the most popular keywords in the meta tag to get higher ranking, but never use the words in the related article then there are full chances that you get blacklisted. The search engines refuses to list your pages. Not only this but there are also lot many ways through which you can fall into the trap. Lets discuss a few of them:

1) Keyword Spamming: As discussed above if you are using lot popular words in the meta keyword tag to gain attention of the search engines, but actually have no relation established between those meta tags and the articles, then you are at higher risk of getting blacklisted. The search engines compares the meta keyword tags with the article and if they find no resemblance between the two they won't list the page in the search engine.

For eg. If you set the meta keyword tag as "Micheal Jackson", but your website is all about electronics goods then your are at risk. Never use such keywords unless your website is actually about it.

2) Keyword Crowding: An event that take place when you are filling the title tag with lots of keywords without any bonding or uniqueness. Always remember the title tag is the most important keyword tag. Care must be taken to see that the title tag contains at the max one or two important keywords. Always remember the title tag is not the place to list keywords, it must only contain those keywords which can be said as the heart of the website.

For Eg. If you are having a website designing firm in New York use the title tag as "website designing in New York", and don't try to fill the title tag with "website designing, programming, SEO design, desktop applications, web development, New York" etc. Else there are chances that your site gets blacklisted.

3) Keyword Repetition : Repeating your keywords in the meta tags might boost your search engine ranking.

For Eg. "mobiles, models, accessories, USA, mobiles"might perform actually well than "mobiles, models, accessories, USA".

But also care must be taken to see that you don't repeat the keywords that often, else the search engines will blacklist you. You can repeat the keywords, but take care that no keyword is repeated more than two times and also you repeat only those keywords which are most important and related to the site. You can use compound keywords like "mobile, accessories, mobile models, USA", as the search engines considers both the entities "mobile" and "mobile models" as different. But be moderate in its use, as some of the search engines don't use compound keywords and you can get blacklisted due to it.

4) Keyword Drowning : This activity does not play that important role in getting the site blacklisted, but of overlooked it can have adverse effect on the Search Engine Optimization of the site and some search engines might even ban the site due to this reason.

If there are too many keywords in the meta tag then we can say there is higher probability of the occurrence of keyword drowning. To have 10-15 keywords in the meta tag is good. If you increase the figure upto 20, though its not recommended but still can work well. But if you start including 30-40 keywords in the meta tag then you get into the trap of keyword drowning. Stick to include only 10-15 keywords in the meta tag as it can generate fruitful results, don't get yourself and the site trapped into the jungle of keywords, as the essence and the effectiveness of each keyword is diluted.

Thus the basic intent of search engine optimization is getting your website listed in the search engine. But the above highlighted points are the basic mistake that the web-masters make in the greed of getting higher search engine ranking. Thus one need to take proper care in playing with the keywords.

Boring Apartment? Here's Some Ideas To Freshen It Up

Living in an apartment brings with it some unique challenges that homeowners do not have to deal with. If you currently are renting then it is very likely that you are not allowed to make any major alterations to your surroundings. This often leads to a lack of inspiration because you are not allowed to drastically change the wallpaper or paint and you may even have a limited amount of space.

However, there are a few things you can do to spruce the place up a bit. For starters, if you like to entertain but are now asking your guests to sit around your kitchen table when they enjoy their cocktails, why not invest in an inexpensive and modern bar? There are many home improvement stores that sell bar tables. They can be made of wood, plastic or metal. Choosing a modern bar with high legs that is adorned with chrome trim would be a great way to take those get-togethers to an entirely new level. Add a few metal bar stools, a neon pub light and a wine rack to complete the look.

If you are not allowed to paint or wallpaper your apartment you can still have great looking walls by adding some artwork. If you are on a tight budget consider buying a few poster prints of your favorite music or TV stars and some frames. If you are a huge Michael Jackson fan for instance, it is very easy to find a life sized poster of Micheal to buy. Local poster shops in malls will certainly carry them and a great quality print should not cost much more than $10. Simply slide it into a poster frame that matches your decor. The room will jump to life and the world will know that you are a big fan of the late pop sensation!

If you are currently using a second-hand TV table or a rather plain looking stand for your TV set, why not check out the vast assortment of fresh and exciting TV stands that are on the market today? Today's television stands tend to be sleek and low to the floor. If space is an issue for you, pick one up that offers some storage. Use your imagination when coming up with decorating ideas for your apartment. Browse through a few decorating magazines and have a look around online. Even though you may be on a budget and your apartment is not large you can transform it into a vibrant and modern environment that reflects your personality.

Caitlina Fuller is a freelance writer. Add a few metal bar stools, a neon pub light and a wine rack to complete the look. Simply slide it into a poster frame that matches your d?cor. The room will jump to life and the world will know that you are a big fan of the late pop sensation!

The Popularity of a Micheal Jackson Costume This Halloween

October 31st may be Michael Jackson's biggest comeback ever. If you look at the Man in the Mirror and see yourself as Micheal Jackson, this Halloween you have your chance to channel him. Rubie's, the 57-year-old, New-York based costume company, is the newly minted, official licensee of Micheal Jackson costumes and costume accessories.

The Rubie's deal was finalized after a court hearing earlier this week. In an exclusive interview with ParentDish, Rubie's executive vice president Howard Beige said that they have, "had a lot of inquiries from customers, [and] most of the requests are for teen and adult sizes."

In the costume business, planning for Halloween starts soon after the previous one. So Jackson's death in June put the manufacturing of his iconic ensembles on the fast track.

"Usually a short lead time is 4 months before Halloween," Beige said. "We typically won't take a license after late May. There are always exceptions, like this." The official items should start appearing in stores around September 15th. "We're starting with eight key items," Beige said.

King of Pop stock includes: the military jacket with gold on the front; Thriller jacket; a long, straight hair wig; short; curly hair wig, like he sported for Thriller; sunglasses; sequined glove; black, felt fedora hat; and a combination package containing a wig and glasses. But that's only for this year; in 2010 "we'll have a much bigger line," Beige promised.

Rubies is only manufacturing teen and adult sizes this year, but that doesn't mean that you won't see some tiny Beat It boys at your door on Halloween. Enterprising young fans are already making their own MJ costumes. Crystal Seaman, a longtime employee of BuyCostumes in New York sees it coming.

"I definitely think Micheal Jackson will be popular for Halloween," she said. "I've seen a lot of kids come in and buy the hat and do the glove up themselves since we don't have the officially licensed glove in stock yet."

According to Seaman, kids as young as six even want to get the Micheal Jackson look. "I had one kid come in the other day, buy the gloves and glitter spray, do them up and put it on right here," she said. At Halloween Adventure, the gloves come as a pair and blingless. The officially licensed version is already glittered up, and you only get one. The King of Pop would probably approve.

Billy Jean will be a great Jackson costume, between the great outfit and the GLOVE!

Bill Jean Backgound

"Billy Jean" was written by Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones for his sixth solo album Thriller. "Billie Jean" was a worldwide commercial and critical success; it became one of the best-selling singles of 1983, and topped both the US and UK charts simultaneously. Cited as one of the most revolutionary songs in history, "Billie Jean" was certified platinum in 1989.

The song won 2 Grammy Awards, and 1 American Music Awards. Its helped the Thriller become the best selling album of all times. he song was also promoted through Jackson's Pepsi commercials; during the filming of one commercial, Jackson's scalp was severely burned. Covered and sampled by modern artists, "Billie Jean" sealed Jackson's status as an international pop icon.

Well what ever costume you choose have a great Halloween!

The Popularity of a Micheal Jackson Costume this Halloween was written by Kathleen Hood, a Halloween Costume fan as well has a Micheal Jackson fan!

Fantasy Football 2010 Rankings With Auction Values and Humor

The following rankings are based on a fantasy football player's year to end season value. If a draft or auction were to occur today this is the rank and value we place on the players based on their past performance and predicted future production. The basis for the valuations is a 10 team league starting 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 K 1 Defense with a 50% yardage and 50% TD scoring system with no points awarded for receptions. The rankings are updated every Tuesday morning, allowing players to value their teams, analyze player values for trades and plan future moves to get the most return out of your Fantasy Football players.

RANK PLAYER DESCRIPTION AUCTION $

1 Chris Johnson Titans, RB

Faster than a speeding Usain Bolt, more powerful than a locomotive, able to jump tall lineman on a 4th down, it's a Falcon it's a Jet, it's Chris Johnson. $44

2 Adrian Peterson Vikings, RB

Despite having some erratic games and fumbling issues, if anyone's going to have a record setting year in '10, it feels like it could be AP. $40

3 Maurice Jones-Drew Jaguars, RB

2009 stats feel like it could be his ceiling, even so, no complaints.....offense remains stable and a repeat performance very likely. $35

4 Ray Rice Ravens, RB

His weekly production is as reliable as Rush Limbaugh's 4th donut of the day. $34

5 Micheal Turner Falcons, RB

The Burner......if in the '08 season he was fueled by petroleum products......he apparently switched to "easy bake oven" technology '09.....he'll get it back on track in '10. $30

6 Frank Gore 49ers, RB

The forecast calls for high weekly averages with spotty nagging injuries all season. $27

7 Steven Jackson Rams, RB

This much potential hasn't been squandered since Matt Damon turned down Famke Jannsen in Rounders. $25

8 Andre Johnson Texans, WR

2009 receiving yards leader by over 200 yds. Potential for even more TD's, but his performance is tied to Schuab staying healthy. $24

9 Larry Fitzgerald Cardinals, WR

If Warner retires, the Cardinals WR's are going to be like Rage Against the Machine trying to go on without Zach de la Rocha. $23

10 Cedric Benson Bears, RB

The question is....does his deal with the devil extend into the 2010 season? Or does he go back to the Cedric we know and hate? $22

11 Ryan Grant Packers, RB

Not the sexiest RB in terms of flash, but he does his job well......oddly the exact opposite can be said of Megan Fox. $21

12 Jamaal Charles Chiefs, RB

The Chiefs miserable team is not doing him any favors, but he is the kind of guy that is going to find a way to get his. $21

13 DeAngelo Williams Panthers,RB

The perks at a time share pitch are all fun and games, but make sure you know what the Panthers are selling before you buy...basically, a full split of two great backs. $21

14 Vincent Jackson Chargers, WR

Is to San Diego WR's what MadMen is to AMC.....both have made something completely irrelevant worth watching now. $20

15 Rashard Mendenhall Steelers,RB

Although we don't expect him to be unbelievable in '10; being the lead RB in PIT guarentee's a certain level of scoring. $19

16 Reggie Wayne Colts, WR

Like Charlize Theron, were not sure what we'll get out of Reggie next; the hottie in The Italian Job or the psycho in Monster that murders your fantasy season. He killed fantasy owners down the stretch of '09. $19

17 Aaron Rodgers Packers,QB

If his offensive line continues to give him the sandlot approved 5 banana count again next year like they did the second half of '09, we expect him to be the top rated fantasy QB again. $19

18 Drew Brees Saints, QB

In each of the past 4 years he's put up a minimum of 4,300 yds and 26 tds. Not too bad of numbers to build a fantasy team around. $19

19 DeSean Jackson Eagles, WR

Despite the fact that is was a turbulent ride with big swings in production....he had the highest average pts/game among Fantasy WR's last year. $19

20 Brandon Marshall Broncos, WR

It seems like every year leading up to Fantasy Drafts/Auctions, there are a lot of questions and reasons not to go after #15...for now we remain very optimistic on his '10 season. $19

21 Peyton Manning Colts, QB

Is he pimping any insurance companies on TV yet? If not he should, because when he's your FF QB, you always feel like your in good hands. $18

22 Miles Austin Cowboys, WR

We found out that his 200 yd game was not a one hit wonder last year....now we're curious if his '09 season was....if it's not, look for Blind Melon, The Proclaimers, Chumbawumba and Hanson to be knocking on his door for advice. $18

23 Randy Moss Patriots, WR

Don't get me wrong, its not that we don't like Moss' '09 numbers, its just we're kind of left with a bad taste in our mouths with how he went out in his last few games. $18

24 Thomas Jones Jets, RB

If you seek flashy highlight reel TD replays, go elsewhere, but if you like reliable production, you've come to the right place...assuming Father Time doesn't finally take him down. $17

25 Ronnie Brown Miami, RB

He's still young and we love him when healthy, but how many times can he bounce back from injury and be his old self. $17

26 Calvin Johnson Lions, WR

Looking more like a 'second tier' transforming action figure of the 80's......Gobot in disguise! $15

27 Beanie Wells Cardinals, RB

The trend at the end of 2009 season was Wells finally started getting the bulk of the carries over Hightower. If that continues into 2010, Wells will post solid numbers. $15

28 Knowshon Moreno Broncos, RB

With just under 1000 yds rushing and 9 total td's in 2009, he didn't exactly blow us away, but it wasn't a disaster either. Entering his second year he'll be counted on more and should deliver. $14

29 Anquan Boldin Cardinals, WR

If it's not too late, someone call Jeff Probst, Boldin would absolutely destroy the competition in an "injury bug" challenge on Survivor. $14

30 Joesph Addai Colts, RB

Addai's only 26...apparently he, Danny Almonte and Greg Oden all get their fake id's from the same place. $13

31 Kevin Smith Lions, RB

If you can talk yourself into a Detroit Lions RB not named Barry Sanders, then by all means. $12

32 Pierre Thomas

Saints, RB

He plays Suzanne Summers in the Saints aggravating Three's Company sitcom. He is the hottest by far, yet Mike Bell in the role of the butch brunette gets far too much screen time $12

33 Tom Brady Patriots, QB

Like DeNiro/Pacino in Godfather II & Heat...Brady/Moss had some incredible highs, lets hope 2010 doesn't turn into a collect the paycheck year and pump out a 'Righteous Kill' type season. $12

34 Sidney Rice Vikings, WR

He'd still be good, but if Favre retires, we're not as bullish on Rice with T Jack or Gus throwing to him. $10

35 Greg Jennings Packers, WR

His reversal of fortune last season rivals only that of an ameteur competitive eater; one minute focused and poised for a Coney Island Championship, the next he's got semi-digested wet hot dogs & buns all over his shoes. $10

36 Roddy White Falcons, WR

Seriously, Mr. White....Mr. Blonde wants to know, "are you going to bark all day little doggie, or are you gonna bite?" $10

37 Steve Smith Carolina, WR

He's still near the front of the plane, it just feels like he's moved from first class to businees class after last year. $10

38 Matt Schaub Texans, QB

The under appreciated girl in high school who you knew was hot and now you're too late to the party. $9

39 Dallas Clark Colts, TE

Dallas International Airport is the nation's 3rd busiest, Dallas Clark is our #1 ranked TE. Suck it airport. $9

40 Antonio Gates Chargers, TE

No signs of SD going back to a run heavy offense with the aging LT-Style Electric Slider (he don't like that call) $9

41 Vernon Davis 49ers, TE

Has all the physical gifts to be in the movie Avatar, he just couldn't learn how to speak Na'Vi. $8

42 Chad Ochocinco Bengals, WR

He's never been a TD machine; it was always the consistent big yards & receptions that made him special, but with declining numbers in those areas, he starts to look more ordinary. $7

43 Phillip Rivers Chargers,QB

Trending well; since 2007 he's increased Yardage and TD totals while reducing INT's every year. $7

44 Owen Daniels Texans, TE

This ranking assumes a full recovery and return to 2009 form, when he was a top TE. $7

45 Matt Forte Bears, RB

The teen equivalent of going from Prom King to Chess Club in one year. High School can be so cruel. $7

46 Jonathon Stewart Panthers, RB

Would love him if he was the workhorse back in this offense, but might have to wait a little while longer for that scenario to play out. $7

47 Marques Colston Saints, WR

That's Marcus with a "Q". Oh, of course it is Mrs. Colston, what a lovely child. $6

48 Steve Smith Giants, WR

A great #2 Fantasy WR that will give you week in week out receptions and yardage. $6

49 Santonio Holmes Steelers, WR

If Santonio Holmes career parallels Larry Holmes career we believe next season could be the Gerry Cooney fight where Holmes really finds his stride. $6

50 Tony Romo Cowboys, QB

Tony Romo does a little too much peacocking to be a true Cowboy. He fell flat in the final game. He has been a bit streaky but with Austin, Witten and Jones their offense looks to be dangerous. $6

Michael Jackson - The Truth

What's the truth about Michael Jackson? Unlike so many of the so called "talents" that are manufactured today on shows like American Idol, Michael Jackson's talent was natural. Even from the age of seven, his father Joe knew saw something there and began to exploit it early.

The truth is, somethings can't be taught or learned and Michael's talent certainly fits this category. Along with the ability to sing, dance and perform with the expertise of person many years older, young Michael Jackson was destined to be a star, whether he wanted it or not. It was clear that he loved to perform, however it also became obvious that he did not like socializing with people when he was off stage.

Only a few were allowed into his inner circle, mostly stars that shared a common ground with his rise from childhood stardom. Famous people like Elizabeth Taylor, Brook Shields, Macaulay Culkin, Emmanuel Lewis, and others who had a similar background were the few allowed into Michael Jackson's world.

It was if they were all part of a fraternity of childhood stars that were forced to grow up quickly and thus lose their chance to be children at all.

With Michael, it seemed as if his artistic abilities were in direct contrast to his social skills and the two struggled to coexist throughout his rather short life. One could witness that when it came time to perform, Michael became a different person. Watch some of his videos and you'll see evidence of this: the expressions on his face, the determination to shine and impress, vs. off stage, when being interviewed, as he became rather shy and withdrawn.

In an interview several years back, Michael Jackson confessed that his childhood was not a very happy one. The pressures put on him by his father, which included both verbal and physical abuse, was just the start. Then, as he became the focal part of the Jackson 5, Michael felt the pressure of having to carry the family on their never ending ride to success. It was soon clear that he was the bread winner and the family was counting on him to out do himself with every consecutive success. Imagine having your family as well as the rest of the world expecting you to out perform yourself time and time again.

It's been documented that Michael Jackson would follow the charts daily to see where his record sales were and how they were charting. First came Off The Wall, and then Thriller, and then Bad, and with each successive album, Michael was determined to out do himself, a feat that proved impossible.

Millions of fans around the world are now mourning the loss of this incredible talent. How sad it is that we as humans forget what we have until it's no longer around, however I guess that's what makes us human after all. However, instead of the media dwelling on how different he was, his strange behavior, and his quirks, why not revel in his genius and art? After all, I'm sure if we all search deep within ourselves, every one of us has our own quirks and deep, dark secrets. Michael was a true genius when it came to his craft and his abilities and no speculation or undermining of his character now that he is gone will ever take away from that. In fact, as time goes by, the only things that will most likely remain about this man is his music. And that's all Michael Jackson wanted anyway: to share his gift with the world.

Eight Great Non-Scary Ghost Movies

Automatically we think of ghosts as scary deformed frightening ghouls. Spirits that take our breath away at the slightest sight, touch or sound. That is why a good ghost movie scares the wits right out of us.

Throughout the years the cinema has produced many movies with a twist to our spooky friend by making this terrifying ghoul into a passive, fun loving comical spirit. For example, comedy horror movies such as 'Casper' the friendly ghost who is actually a kindhearted spirit of a little boy; 'Frighteners' with ghosts who like having a little fun; and 'Ghost Dad' as a loving father who comes back from the dead to help his son.

How about a good friendly ghost movie tonight to keep your wits? I have picked out eight of my personal favorites from the comedy horror genre file and put them in a chronological order.

1) Topper - 1937

This cute comedy classic has the ghosts as a happy fun couple that are now dead. The deceased Kirbys decide to do a good deed by helping Mr. Topper a stuffy executive they once knew.

Starring: Cary Grant as George Kirby, Constance Bennett as Marion Kerby, Roland Young as Cosmo Topper.

2) A Christmas Carol - 1951

Now this Charles Dickens story has been revamped on TV and the silver screen in so many different forms, even Mr. Magoo did this ghostly tale. Animation, TV sitcoms, the Muppets, everyone did 'A Christmas Carol'

storyline and they were all very entertaining. Why not, the story is a Christmas classic bordering a great horror movie. In fact the best movie version was released October 31, 1951 (Halloween). A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim as Ebeneezer Scrooge. Also starring: Mervyn Johns and Hermione Baddeley.

3) Ghost Busters - 1984

A delightful comedy about four supernatural exterminators that became heroes. Lots of fun and great ghoulish effects.

Starring: Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver.

4) Beetlejuice - 1988

Directed by Tim Burton, Micheal Keaton does a great job of being the most irritating ghoul in the afterworld. Beetlejuice with all his nastiness actually helps a very nice, newly deceased couple from losing their lovely home. A comedy horror, classic ghost movie.

Starring: Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Winona Ryder.

5) Always - 1989

Steven Spielberg directed this fantasy romance movie about an aerial firefighter who dies in a crash leaving a very distraught girlfriend. The pilot comes back as a ghost and helps a rookie pilot become the best but the rookie falls in love with the dead pilots girlfriend. A very touching film.

Starring: Richard Dreyfuss, John Goodman, Holly Hunter.

6) Ghost - 1990

Speaking of a touching film, this has got to be the most famous ghost movie ever. A film that has everything a movie buff would want with comedy, romance and action. A banker dies at the hands of a mugger only to come back as a spirit. The only person that can hear him is a con artist medium. This movie also has malicious revenge.

Starring: Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg.

7) Casper - 1995

A paranormal expert and his daughter move into an old mansion which is inhabited by one friendly spirit and three mischievous ghouls. A great family comedy horror film.

Starring: Bill Pullman, Christina Ricci, Cathy Moriarty, Eric Idle.

8) Frighteners - 1996

Definitely a favorite in my books. Frank Bannister can hear, see and talk to spirits in this comedy horror directed by Peter Jackson (Lord Of The Rings). Frank uses his abilities to investigate a supernatural presence from hell with help from three friendly ghosts.

Starring: Michael J. Fox, Trini Alvarado, Jake Busey, John Astin.

There you have it, eight of my favorite non-scary ghost movies of all time. When I first thought about this movie project, Beetlejuice and Frighteners automatically came to mind. Lets not forget Casper the Friendly Ghost. So when your tired of getting the wits scared out of you, try a non-scary friendly ghost movie. Any of the above comedy horror movies will do the trick (or treat).

Cosplay Dresses Add Fashion Elements to the Virtual Anime World

Every coin has two sides. This definitely makes sense on cosplay. People who are fond of impersonating their favorite anime or movie characters with particularly made costumes usually consider costume plays as funny or meaningful activities where participants express their personalities and lifestyles. Nevertheless, people who dislike anime reality shows often hold an opinion like this: those fantastic events offer people places to escape from reality. Then, what do you think?

Honestly speaking, costume plays do bring people special pleasure. Different with high-end banquets, you do not have to feel terribly defeated about seeking for a pretty prom gown which may require you to break the wallet. Nor do you need to carry a classy necklace or a luxurious clutch for an anime show. Your consciousness about the frequently varying fashion trends on LV clothing and Gucci shoes can be put aside for a moment. There are lots of costumes that are specially crafted for this kind of leisure activities which are usually generated on a weekend, short holiday and of course Halloween. They are available on affordable prices without well-known logos in many cases. Or, most anime lovers tend to make their costumes in a tailor shop to save a lot. Anyway, it' s not difficult to find or make an amazingly similar suit for your favorite cartoon, movie or video game character on today' s market.

Of course, there are some basic rules embraced by lovers for anime and manufacturers for anime outfits. All the while, costumes for anime shows are strictly made on the basis of styles shown in movies or described by story writers. Imitators do expect to look the same with the personated roles. Besides, fashion or trend can be also applied on anime suits. Most of time, a high search volume always rests on ensembles for Final Fantasy, Bleach, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean and Micheal Jackson. Along with the drastic transformations on people' s concepts, more and more fresh styles are put into the sought-after collection. Some pretty dresses exactly begin to appear on current anime shows.

The arrival of cosplay dresses really brings a new lease of life to the fantastic anime show world and these suits quickly become a hot force on the market. Females who do not want to wear fantastic costumes or have no ideas on which character to act get important inspirations on how to complete their appearances with them. Breaking away from traditional laws on spicing up the look, people get more options undoubtedly. Comparing with usual fashion clothing, themes on dresses for anime shows are usually different or even weird. Extravagant and bold accessories or design patterns are used, creating unique feminine sense or sex appeal. To awaken nice memories in earlier time, some females also tend to put on school uniforms or Lolita dresses. Actually speaking, anime shows really bring people opportunities to experience the past time again and get back some precious memories. Believe it or not, lots of people evoke the forgotten passion on these fantastic activities.

There will be more and more beautiful styles added into the cosplay dress collection. Probably, some new fads will replace the innocent sense of prettiness on school uniforms and princess-like Lolita dresses. Anyway, the release of this new force did bring some fashion elements to the fantastic anime world. Then, if you look forward to seeming stylish, sexy or gorgeous, try a dress style please.

Cosplay dresses make the fantastic anime world more interesting and beautiful. If you are looking for a classy, yet inexpensive cosplay dress up for the coming anime show, don' t forget to pay a visit to this author' s site.

August Wilson: In Memoriam

"The death of August Wilson does not simply leave a hole in the American theater, but a huge, yawning wound, one that will have to wait to be stitched closed by some expansive, poetic dramatist yet to emerge."

- Peter Marks. Washington Post

On Monday Oct. 17, Broadway's Virginia Theater will become the August Wilson Theater. Moving from the nether side of Pittsburgh to a marquee on Broadway is a journey found in the movies of American myth makers. Its the type of journey that keeps Don King waving miniature American flags and hip hop cats cloning clothing lines. It's the American Dream to the extent that it is the Dream personified. Rags to riches. Catfish to caviar. The whole nine. But somehow I think August wasn't quite so impressed with all of that. I can't point to anything that says this specifically. No banners, no signs, no quotes. A simple hypothesis.

But let me be direct with my reasoning. August Wilson, born Frederick August Kittel in the Year of our Lord 1945 to a Black American mother and a German immigrant father on the wrong end of a steel town's streets, was about the work. He was driven by a sense of ambition that was largely bereft of the navel gazing so prevalent in the artists of the generations that have come after him. No marketing strategies, no publicity stunts, no cross promotion vehicles, no dress to impress networking happy hours. After winning 7 New York Drama Critics' Awards, two Pulitzer Prizes and a Tony Award, Wilson was still about the work. After receiving nearly every accolade and award available to a person who makes a living off ideas, he was still about the work. The true strength and beauty of August's legacy is the sheer ambition and audacity of his ideas and the willingness to do the heavy lifting necessary to realize his vision.

Both of these attributes had to be in plenty supply for August to not only cover the expanse of Black life in the 20th century in a 10 play cycle but to do it in the fashion that he did. Linear thought concludes that the cycle started with the 1984 release of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and ended with this year's Radio Golf. But that would be too easy and rarely does such creativity come wrapped so neatly. Instead, the plays come at crazy -degreed angles, masked as seemingly separate creations yet determinedly part of the same free flowing current of schemes and ideas, pain and pleasures, triumphs and tribulations that transverse life in real time. Each play feeds into a cultural continuum that connects the first play to the last play, the second play to the seventh play, the ninth play to the third play and so on and so on. August draws a direct line from the first days of the first decade to the close of the century because time is irrelevant. What is relevant is going deep into the grooves of human experience to tap into that deeply embedded rhythm that allows us to fall down, get up, fall down and get up again. August was in touch with that. As a result, August was able to successfully condense a century of Black experience into a 20 year burst of literary brilliance.

And the beauty of August Wilson is that he made himself into a playwright, not through a chance encounter with a broadway producer at a cocktail party; but through hard work and dedication. Even the people that helped him on his path weren't opportunistic enterprises forged simply to establish a "career", they were lifelong creative partnerships. Somewhere along the way, August connected with two people that would help him fulfill his life's work and these relationships told volumes about Wilson the man. The first was director Lloyd Richards, the first man to bring a Black themed play to Broadway when he staged Lorraine Hansberry's "Raisin in the Sun," in 1959. Richards, who served as the dean of the Yale School of Drama and the artistic director of Yale Repertory Theater, played Quincy Jones to Wilson's Micheal Jackson. He reigned in Wilson's excesses and emphasized Wilson's brilliance, guiding August from community stages to the halls of midtown New York. For Richards, August softened his stance when he knew it was in the best interest of the project.

The second was Aunt Esther, a woman who grew from a figment of Wilson's imagination into the shaper of his consciousness and the key to connecting the past with the present, the present and the future. Aunt Esther was over 300 years old before she actually appeared in an August Wilson play but she was there the whole time. She made sense of August's time warps and connected even the most despicable of Wilson's characters to something greater than himself, greater than herself, greater than us. To Aunt Esther, August listened when he felt that his own experience couldn't capture the moment. A man of considerable talent and more than a little ego, Wilson nonetheless knew when it was best to follow and when it was best to lead. And which posture was going to produce the best product.

But even that wasn't what made August the abnormally driven man he was, even this wasn't the extent of his life's work. What made this man historically significant was the fact that he wanted Black folks to really love their own culture. It was his fervent hope that Black folks would embrace their own culture, exhibit their own culture, support their own culture. This is not a hunch. This is not a hypothesis. This I know is true because this came from his mouth. I know this was true because it was implicit in his deeds. He said it when he debated Robert Brustein on the dire importance of incorporating Black minds to shape Black art. He showed it when he cancelled the film production of Fences because of Hollywood's inability, or unwillingness, to assign a Black director to the project. And his perspective wasn't a slight toward the sensibilities of non-Black artists, artisans, culturalists etc. It was just the simple fact that Black stories are best rendered by Black people. Its about the work.

So from the fall of 2005 on, August Wilson's name will be bear one of the greatest compliments afforded a playwright. Millions will travel to the heart of New York City and see his name on the marquee of a theater that he worked so hard to present his creations within. And though he died far too young, August lived long enough to stay true to his word. The completion of his last play brought an end to the definitive exploration of Black life in the 20th century. His fight to place Black American theater on equal footing with the theatrical traditions of other cultures will reverberate for years to come. The promises he made, he fulfilled.

Rest in peace August, your work is done.

What Happened in 2008?

A lot have happened in 2008 so far and of course the year cannot be completely accounted for until the new year has taken over. However, it has been an exciting year, a lot has happened in politics, music, economics, entertainment and science that will go to history as milestones and affect humanity for a long time to come. It will furthermore be impossible to cover all events, news and occurrences of 2008, but here are the top selections that will paint a good picture of what happened in 2008!

Politics: Barack Obama for President

Late August 2008 U.S senator Barack Obama accepted the nomination of the Democratic party for the primary U.S presidential elections of 2008. The Democrat's nomination convention in Denver held over 80,000 supporters and spectators and there were no doubt that it would go down in American politic history as one of the most important moments of our century. The race for the Democratic nomination had been running for several months as one of the most remarkable events in politic history. Not only were two very characteristic candidates involved, but for the first time the race were really tight.

Now we wait for the presidential elections to start, which will probably be one of the greatest events for the year of 2008, and it stands between republican John McCain and democrat Barack Obama.

Entertainment: New Kids are back on the block

On a less serious note, like entertainment always is, the news of 2008 has be the re-union of the notorious boy band New Kids On The Block. With a new album called The Block coming out 2nd August 2008, the reunited band members, without Mark Wahlberg, embarked on a world tour in September. With smach hits like Hanging Tough, NKOTB started off in the early 90s as one of the first boy bands in the music biz. Two years later they were announced the best paid performers, beating both Madonna and Micheal Jackson.

Up to this reunion all members of the band has pursued own goals, including solo careers in music, real estate and acting.

What to Wear to an 80's Party - 3 Tips to Putting Together a Rad 80's Costume

OK...so you got invited to an 80's party and now your thinking what the heck am I going to wear to this thing. Right? Figuring out what to wear to an 80's party doesn't have to be a big ordeal because you have the greatest tool ever invented right at your finger tips. Yep, the world wide web makes things like this sooooo much easier than it used to be.

Their are several factors to take into consideration when you are putting your 80's outfit together. Start with the these three guidelines and take it from there.

The first factor to consider is your overall budget for your 80's costume. Are you wanting to be loud and make a statement or just put on something simple to be a part of the fun? Their are plenty of websites that have costumes that are very affordable. If money is tight a simple t-shirt with an 80's movie or TV slogan can be interesting and can bring back a lot of memories from that great decade we all loved so much.
Are you wanting to make your outfit totally from scratch? This can be done but be ready to do a little bit more legwork to get it all together. Start at places like your local Goodwill or Faith Rescue Mission. They have tons of old stuff and you might get lucky and find exactly what your looking for. These types of places are also great for locating outdated footwear.
Do some brainstorming on the subject. Why not dress up like a character from an old 80's TV show or movie! Use your imagination and the idea's will start flowing. Think Miami Vice, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Caddyshack. What about rock and music pop stars of the 80's! Micheal Jackson, Vince Neil and Joan Jett are some of the first names that pop into my mind.

Just remember when considering your 80's costume options that it was a decade of overindulgence. You couldn't use to much hair spray, make up or wear to many crazy colors. Their is so much more for you to learn and for all of your 80's party questions you must visit this totally awesome 80's party website. http://howtoplantheperfect80sparty.com/ has costume and other great idea's on everything related to an 80's party! Best wishes and have fun:)

Will Micheal Jackson Be Seen This Year During Halloween?

"Gone too soon" seemed appropriate to describe the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. He has been performing from the age of six and have been the object of controversy ever since. He sang with his brothers until he went to go on as a solo artist. His albums were a success and for a time, anything he touched turned into gold. Kings and presidents would give in to his every whim. He was more than a man to the world. He was an icon, a true idol in every way. Everyone wanted to be him. Michael Jackson costumes and paraphernalia are sold everywhere to feed his avid fan base.

Still, fame and fortune does not come without a price. The price took toll on his mental state. For a time, MJ, as he was fondly called, was dependent on drugs and harbored feelings of confusion and paranoia. He was also sometimes known to be a megalomaniac and thinks he can get away with anything. Yet, he was also a humanitarian and show sincere concern over the environment and other global issues that needed attention like AIDS, racism and famine. The Man in the Mirror was indeed a true entertainer. He kept the paparazzi on their toes with his every crazy antic and fed them more stories to feast on to taint his own image. It was a strategy that worked to shield other people from finding out the real Michael Jackson. His private thoughts were kept private and we can only speculate what truly went inside the mind of a great artist and genius.

The world will never witness another star like him. We can only be reminded of his talent when we see someone wear a Michael Jackson costume and try to impersonate him. He will always be remembered for his music and performances that can only take your breath away.

Let the fun of Micheal Jackson's Thriller ignite your Halloween fun by impersonating the King of Pop himself! Creating your own Zombie party with awesome Micheal Jackson Costumes! Visit FrightNightCostumes.com today.

Michael Jackson's Passing - What Does That Have to Do With Home Based Business and Your Life?

The World is stunned at the News of the passing of Michael Jackson, known as the Pop Idol.
His sudden death has shocked the world and fans around the globe are mourning his passing, and celebrating the music influence that he shared over decades.

Devastated fans who were expecting great things from his concerts to be held in London in July, are at a loss in more ways than one, the loss of the Concert not happening, the loss of Michael himself, and the dilema of what to do with their tickets.

Critics and news crews are of course, disecting his lifes events, and searching for meaning and truth, and maybe scandal, in the different events that Micheal Jackson found himself facing.

Good or strange, he has touched and influenced all of our lives in one way or another.

When big events like this shock the world, does it not get you thinking? I know that it does for me. Do you start to think about your life, and what the meaning of your life may be, what influence you may have on others around you, whether it be a handful of people, or a whole lot more?

Have you ever looked at your life, and thought about a legacy you would like to leave behind you, for your children or loved ones, or many more beyond that?
Imagine being at your funeral, and looking back over your life. What would people be sharing about what they remembered about your life, and what influence you had on them? How would you have touched them, in one way or another? What difference would you have made?

Then maybe focus on your life right now, in your relationships within your family, with your loved ones, your children, your parents and extended family, your friends and neighbours, with your God.
Are all your relationships in good order, and if perhaps not, what could or should you do about them, while you can. We never know what is around the corner, what tomorrow holds.

Many of us spend our lives in the past, worrying about things we have failed at, people we have hurt, or who have hurt us, or things we have messed up on.
Some of us worry about the future, about our children, about the Recession, how we are going to make it through these tough times. How is our superannuation or share investments going to recover, to help us in retirement, how are we going to pay our bills if we have lost our job, or had our work hours reduced?
How are we going to make our mortguage repayments, the list goes on and on.

If we do find ourselves in a financial bind in these times, that can be pretty tough. The media speculates that Michael Jackson was doing the concerts in London, as he was in a lot of debt. Who knows, that may be the reason, or it may have been for his children, would be good to know that was the case.
Being in debt can be pretty stressful, just for oneself, in relationships, if you have been there, you know how it feels. Your whole outlook becomes clouded with worry about your bank balance, of how to make ends meet, how you are going to manage to make more money, how you are going to pay the bills, and get ahead.
If only there were a better way, maybe with a job you don't like, or trying to find a job in a market with higher unemployment.

Life can be tough and trying, we all know that, and we can choose to dwell on these things that bring our energy and mood down, or we can choose to look at life in another way. We can regret the past, or worry about the future, or we can choose to live in the Present, to appreciate the day that we have been blessed with, and the people that we can share it with, even be it at work. We can count our Blessings, enjoy the fresh air and blue sky, or rain, treasure the beauty of a flower blossoming, or the greeting of a happy dog, or the smile of delight on a child's face. We can rejoice at the energy and health we enjoy, and the food to nourish us, and learn to be grateful for the Blessings in life, and enjoy the Gift of the Present.

So as we reflect on Michael Jackson's lifes highs and lows, let us focus on the highs, for the times when he let his light shine out to the world, to bring joy and energy, song and dance, and to decide to let our lives be lived with a song or a dance, to let our lights shine for the world to see, whatever that means to us, to make a difference to another, that is what life is all about. To choose not to be bound by things in our lives, but to choose to live a live of freedom and peace and joy, whatever that means to you.
Many many people go through life, just accepting what life hands to them, and not expecting anything better, not really believing there could be another way, or another choice in life. Is this letting their light shine? Are they living the life of their Dreams, or just existing?

For some Working from Home with a Home Based Business Online, gives a sense of Freedom, and control of their financial future. They don't need to depend on jobs to pay their bills, their online business works 24/7, 365 days a year, whether they work or play. Could that be part of your Dream, to enjoy finacial and time freedom, to have enough for your family, your bills, and to have plenty left over to share and make a difference to others? Have you ever thought that possible?

If you want to live the life of your Dreams, to let your light shine, and want to know about other choices and options you may have in life, If you want a second chance, to be able to leave a legacy, to be able to live the life of freedom you have always wanted to, you have come to the right place at the right time.

EFT For Healing Pain - 3 Lessons From Michael Jackson's Life

Michael Jackson said things about his "stolen childhood" many times over the years which throw light on his addictive and bizarre behaviors. Would his life have turned out differently if he had been helped by an emotional-energy healing system such as the Break-Free Fast Formula with its component of EFT tapping? I'll never know.

One thing is for sure - we can learn 3 key lessons to heal our own life, get unstuck... so that we can attract and live a life we love, confident with results from the Law of Attraction.

3 KEY HEALING LESSONS

1. Heal your Inner Child and "Heal The World". Michael said: "My childhood was completely taken away from me - no Christmas, birthdays - from the age of five..."

Lesson #1: find the "frozen little child within" and set him or her free. Why? Because if you DON'T you risk that child running - or eventually ruining - your life now. Unconscious programs and beliefs set up before we are 5/6 can hijack our lives NOW...keeping us frustrated, in pain. Michael was clearly in perpetual pain (emotional and physical) by the time he died.

2. Michael said: "What we need to learn from children isn't childish" His own genius and creative brilliance were a staggering tribute to a soul born with breath-taking talent and gifts he showered on the world like his love of pageantry/dramatic visuals/dance etc.

Lesson #2 - Heal the Damaged Child - but Cultivate, Love and Nurture your Creative Spiritual Child - he or she is a source of endless inspiration, beauty and love.

3. Heal the Inner Shadow Black vs White conflict within you -failure to own your "dark side" can result in illness, depression, low self worth, failure.

LESSON #3: Only when you dig deep and re-claim the gold in the dark mine of your shadow will you release your power and potential to shine and heal yourself and the world.

RIP Michael

David Sanborn Change Of Heart Jazz Music CD Review

Change Of Heart is the latest release from Jazz Artist David Sanborn, and is another great one from this talented musician.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

These days it's a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.

If you're a David Sanborn fan this is a CD your collection flat cannot be without. In fact, this is one of those CDs that you don't even have to be a fan of Sanborn, or even Jazz to know is good. This is just good music. Period.

While the entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 1 - Chicago Song, track 3 - High Roller, and track 6 - A Change Of Heart

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 8 - The Dream. Wow!

Why Internet Marketing Firms Hate MFA Sites

If the recent Google update has made your site rankings plummet through the floor, it has probably left you gasping for breath. Hello, where did you go wrong? If you take a peek around the e-landscape you will see many warrior sites left spluttering for breath. The nature and scope of search engine optimization has undergone a sea-change with the recent Google update. The truth is that with every Google update, a good Internet marketing company should quickly re-think and re-strategize. So its no use singing Shaggy's 'It wasn't me' to the Google Gods. Stop trying to convince them that you didn't use MFA (Made for Adsense) sites. The sooner you accept the truth, the better it is - MFA sites have become like Micheal Jackson in the world of search engine optimization - hot once, cold now.

Search Engine Optimization and MFA

If you have created an MFA site, then you have undoubtedly found yourself at the top of the rankings, or somewhere close enough, all this time. However, now any legit internet marketing company will inform you that a MFA site is on the search engine optimization hit list. The Big Brothers at Google are watching you very closely. It's only a matter of time before you will be kaput - sandboxed, banned, or dropped from the SERPs - no Internet marketing company will be able to help your search engine optimization efforts.

So, as the wise men at search engine optimization say, better to quit while you are ahead. Drop the MFA, and continue going down the straight and the narrow of search engine optimization. Use traditional search engine optimization techniques like good SEO rich content - update it regularly and you will see rankings improve slowly and gradually. Get one way links from targeted themed sites, you know the search engine optimization routine...Be a good boy, and the search engine optimization gods will smile upon you once again. Don't hesitate to employ an expert search engine optimization firm to do this for you.

Why MFA Sites Suck

After all, what use was your MFA site anyways? The purpose of a Made for Adsense site is placing ads, which might be of interested to users. Once a user clicks these ads, and makes a purchase, the site is paid a commission from the advertiser. This sounded like a good idea, till fishy search engine optimization firms took a good thing and tarred it black.

Scraping, cloaking, and other black hat techniques have made MFA sites fester like a sore wound for genuine search engine optimization firms and strategies. You see, these MFAs pages are targeted at particular keywords. When surfers enter such keywords in a search engine, they are directed to these pages, which appear to have useful content. Keyword stuffing, same color text, and other underhand techniques make these pages appear at the top of the search engine optimization rankings. However, users see only a list of ads, most of which are not even related to their initial keyword. Informational content is zilch, and usefulness is zero. In fact, most MFA sites are not even created by humans any more, but are created using scripts and other search engine optimization tricks.

As you can imagine, MFA sites ruin the quality of search engine results. What's a guy to do when most sites open up as lousy MFA sites? You think such a surfer will ever use that search engine again? Unlikely.

Moreover, imagine the condition of an advertiser who has put his hard-earned dollars into an Adword or an AdSense? He thinks genuine buyers and prospects are exploring his services. However, the only people coming his way are surfers who have been tricked into clicking his ad. In summary, an Adword buyer is paying for accidental clicks. This is search engine optimization fraud, any which way you look at it.

MFA Fall Outs on Search Engine Optimization

Not only will your MFA site sink like a stone in the web morass, with it will go other black hats as well. For example, your landing pages. If you have noticed, Google has increased the bid values for AdWords. When sites used to bid on relatively cheaper AdWords, they had no problems redirecting clickers to their MFA sites. At such sites, every click would generate several dollars for the owner. So the ROI was fantastic - bid a few cents on an AdWord, and get several dollars in exchange. Who could resist that?

Now it's a different story. Such MFA sites are re-evaluated according to the landing pages for the AdWord. Internet marketing firms now realize that such pages could tank the rankings of their sites, or even worse, get their site banned. SERPs have shown that the only way for legit AdWords sites to remain in the race is to junk the MFA - landing pages tie-up.

The fall out of the recent update is that black hat search engine optimization methods have excluded MFA sites and the AdWords landing pages of such sites.

How Does Google KNOW?

Its quite simple. They altered the algorithm slightly, and tweaked it so that only the legit sites remain visible at the top. In fact, as far back as December 2005, Google began recording the Quality Score of AdWords landing pages. Similar to the carrot and stick approach, spammy pages resulted in higher bid values of related keywords and lower scores.

Best Practices for Internet Marketing Firms

Alter all MFA sites you own, ASAP. Replace the content with information about the keywords you have used. Its painful, its expensive, but its pays in the long run.
Edit the Adwords landing pages to have some relevant content.
Always use black hat with caution. If you are going to flirt with the law, be prepared for the sandbox.
Ask a professional Internet marketing company for help - they are the experts, after all.

An Internet marketing company will bring with it knowledge, experience, and best of all, they know exactly how to remain just outside the danger zone. No one said search engine optimization was easy or simple. What is hot today becomes passé tomorrow. As an Internet marketing company, you need to be alert, agile, and very street smart to remain a step ahead in the rat race.
